4 Hour OH SAFE: Pre-Licensing Education Course
This is a Ohio-specific classroom equivalent (CEQ) pre-licensing education elective course for new mortgage loan originators (MLOs). This course satisfies the 4 hour Ohio mortgage pre-licensure education requirement.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Restate the requirements for initial licensure
- Discuss the requirements of renewal of a license
- Understand the recordkeeping and reporting requirements
- Relate the powers of the superintendent including examination and audit procedures
- Restate requirements for residential mortgage loans
- Identify prohibited acts and practices
- Describe requirements for escrow and trust accounts
- Discuss disclosures and advertising
- Understand disciplinary action procedures
- Discuss penalties for violations
