Course Information
This 4 hour Arizona CE course is required by the DFI for 2026 Arizona DFI mortgage license renewal.
In this continuing education course, we will be discussing three important topics for the mortgage industry in 2026. This course is broken up into three chapters. In Chapter 1, we will talk about what it means to be a responsible individual and dive into the wide world of advertising. In Chapter 2, we will switch gears and talk about prohibited acts and fraud, and in Chapter 3, we will discuss identity theft and cybersecurity.
Arizona requires the Responsible Individual designated on a mortgage broker or mortgage banker company license to complete 12 hours of CE annually by December 31. 8 hours are completed through the standard NMLS SAFE CE pipeline. This course satisfies the remaining 4 hours, which are a direct AZDIFI obligation and not banked in NMLS. No proctoring is required. The learner receives a certificate of completion to submit directly to AZDIFI with the company license renewal checklist.
This course is presented in an online self-study read-only slide presentation format. The course is made up of 3 chapters broken into 5 minute sections that require clicking to advance to the next slide and includes a handful of small quizzes. After completing the introduction to the course, each section will start with an average duration of 5 minutes per section. Each 5 minute section will be followed by an activity. These activities can be either short quizzes or case studies focusing on certain concepts.
At the end of each chapter, there is a chapter quiz with a final exam wrapping up the course. Students must complete all presentation and activity sections, all quizzes and tests, and the final exam in order to receive credit for the course. After completing the course, students will receive a certificate of completion.
The course will be loaded into your account immediately upon purchase.
